Last year, Xiaomi launched the Mi 12 Pro Dimensity, which features Mediatek Dimensity’s 9000+ flagship chip. This time, it uses Dimensity 9200, which will be Xiaomi’s new king of Dimensity.
This chip starts with the second generation of 4nm technology of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., LTD., which is equipped with octa-core flagship CPU, and the power consumption of peak CPU performance is reduced by 25% compared with the previous generation. Meanwhile, the new 11-core GPU Immortalis-G715 is adopted, which improves the performance by 32% compared with the previous generation. The CPU single-core performance is 12% better than the Dimensity 9000, and the multi-core performance is 10% better.
In terms of specifications, Dimensity 9200 consists of one oversized Cortex X3 3.05GHz, three large-sized Cortex A715 2.85GHz and four small-sized Cortex A510 1.8GHz, with an Antutu running score of over 1.2 million.
In addition, the Immortalis-G715 GPU of the Dimensity 9200 supports hardware ray tracing technology on mobile terminals, which can bring physical light and shadow effects comparable to the real world for mobile games, helping players to enjoy immersive visual experience.
