Design
The Radiomaster TX16S Transmitter looks very decently, like a very high-end product. The housing is made of plastic. The knobs next to the display are made of metal. The Jumper T16, they were made of plastic, which was used up quickly. This problem is no longer present in the TX16S. As for the quality of the case, it looks great, but it’s also a bit too delicate. The first scratches may appear on it quite quickly.
Display
The touch display with a resolution of 480 × 272. The screen is very large and easy to read, but there is one thing but… Radiomaster TX16S is an LCD display. Under light or full sun, it is no longer as legible as you might expect. In this situation, turn up the brightness more.
Features
The internal RF system of the Radiomaster TX16S remote control comprises the RF chip modules cc2500, nrf24L01, A7105, and CYRF6936, all of which are integrated on one circuit board. This module supports most of the RF protocols known today. (see the RF Chip data below) The radiometer’s internal RF module supports firmware updates directly from the transmitter’s operating system. No complicated update procedures. The high-quality precision Hall sensor gimbals CNC milled from aluminum offer the ultimate experience in this class of FPV radio transmitters.
Battery
On the back, there is a flap with a hidden pocket for two LiPo batteries (AA dimensions). The transmitter is not power-hungry. The standard 2S LiPo 18650 pack should be enough for a full day of fun. Charging takes place via the USB port to which we connect the charger from the set.
