Realme is technically a new hobby in these new wanderings, even taking into account that it uses many features of the Oppo parent home. After the relatively substantial market share that Realme 1 has managed to achieve, the start-up has been trying to keep up the momentum at all costs. The releases of the latest device Realme U1 as confirmed by the company’s CEO Madhav Sheth.
In terms of hardware, we already know that Realme U1 will have a dual camera configuration and will be built around a powerful new MediaTek P70 chipset. Now a new and admittedly obscure source has unearthed what appears to be the rest of the spec sheet of the next Realme device.
The above-mentioned specifications combine with what we have heard before, giving the information leak a little more credibility. Apparently, the Realme U1 will have a rather large 6.3-inch IPS display, complete with the characteristic “U” slot, as seen in all advertising materials. Realme also did not save resolution and protection. The spec sheet clearly mentions FullHD +, with 2340 x 1080 pixels and a Gorilla Glass 3 finish.
The Helio P70 chip will be equipped with 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB expandable onboard storage respectively. The camera’s configuration includes a 13MP, f / 2.2 main sensor, and a 2MP, f / 2.4 depth sensor on the back. On the front, we will have – a camera of 25MP, f / 2.0. The document also mentions the selfie sensor – Sony IMX576, the same high resolution fixed focus module found in front of some Xiaomi devices, such as Mi Mix 3 and Mi 8 Lite, as well as the original Oppo F7 “selfie expert”. This fits well with the clear marketing angle centered on Realism’s selfies for U1.
And last, but not least, the battery, set at 3500mhA. The document also lists a “charger” input, rated at 10W (5V / 2A) basic. We can only assume that it refers to the wall charger included in the box. Even so, Realme U1 is unlikely to support higher loading speeds, considering its low-cost nature.
