One more day Xiaomi under its Redmi brand launches a new product. This time it is a monitor under the name of Redmi display 1A 23.8 ″, a simple monitor with which Xiaomi seeks to boost its business of cheap monitors. This new monitor will soon go on sale in China priced at 689 yuan (about $85). The global launch is yet to be announced.
In detail, we are facing a 23.8-inch monitor very similar to the Xiaomi Mi Display 1A that we met some time ago. In contrast, this new monitor stands out for its slim design of just 7.3mm and for having more video inputs than the Xiaomi monitor itself.
And it is that, despite its reduced price, the Redmi display 1A 23.8 ″ not only has an HDMI as a video input but also a VGA port. Its IPS panel has a 1080p resolution, that is, 1920 × 1080 pixels and is capable of displaying great image quality in high definition, clear and natural.
Its contrast level is 1,000: 1 (TYP), its viewing angle is 178º and its format becomes the classic 16: 9. From the rest, we are faced with a sober computer monitor in design, which with a black finish and minimalist lines will match any decoration. In more detail, this new Xiaomi monitor has a maximum power of 24W and its panel becomes 60Hz with a response of 6ms (GTG). Its weight is just 2.7Kg and it has dimensions of 5.39.2 × 181.2 × 419.5mm.
Furthermore, the Redmi display 1A 23.8 ″ offers a reduced level of blue light. Thanks to this, it is possible to improve eye health, significantly reducing its negative effect after long hours of use. Likewise, its support allows the inclination of the monitor itself in the direction that we want.
