Redmi K50 Extreme Edition VS Redmi K60 Quick Comparison Review

Now the number of new phones in the market has really increased significantly, but for some users, a brand or a model with a certain positioning is often more popular. Take cost-effective mobile phones as an example. In today’s mobile phone market, many users support and recognize it, and many manufacturers will also make efforts at this stage.

After the official release of the Redmi K60, it has indeed attracted the attention of many users, but many users feel that it is not as worth buying as the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition. In this case, the author went offline to get started with two products respectively. It can be said that the gap is quite obvious, and the choice should be clearer.

First of all, there is indeed some gap between the hardware of the Redmi K60 and Redmi K50 Extreme Edition.

To be honest, the most controversial part of these two products is the problem with the processor. Many users feel that the low-frequency version of the Snapdragon 8+ processor on the Redmi K60 really has no way to compare with the full-blooded version of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition. Compare.

This is true. If you consider the ultimate performance, the advantages of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition are indeed very obvious. Even if the Redmi K60 has the blessing of the violent engine, there will still be some gaps.

But this gap will not be particularly large, at least when running mainstream games, it is difficult to see the difference between the products, which is also a normal thing.

Moreover, the difference in power consumption of the Redmi K60 powered by the low-frequency version of the Snapdragon 8+ processor is not particularly small. It is basically the same as the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, but it can only be said to be slightly better.

Correspondingly, the power consumption is lower, but the performance will also be lower, so users naturally need to make a trade-off when choosing, so as to meet their own usage conditions.

For gamers, the competition value of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition may be slightly higher, but the Redmi K60, the performance improvement is not particularly obvious.

So the gap in performance will really become a watershed.

Secondly, the peripheral parameters of the Redmi K60 and Redmi K50 Extreme Edition also have a big gap.

From the screening point of view, they are all equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED centered hole-digging straight screen, and they all have a 120Hz refresh rate and 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

It’s just that the screen resolution of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is 1.5K, while the Redmi K60 has a 2K resolution. Although they are all domestic screens, the effect brought by the new machine is stronger, with a brightness of 1400 nits.

From a practical point of view, the resolution of the Redmi K50 Extreme is sufficient, and the power consumption is slightly lower, and the cost performance is high. If it is from the pursuit of the ultimate experience, the screen of the Redmi K60 is obviously better.

In terms of battery life, the Redmi K60 uses a 5500mAh+67W fast charging combination and supports a 30W wireless fast charging speed to ensure the normal use needs of users. The Redmi K50 Extreme Edition has a built-in 5000mAh battery capacity and supports 120W wired fast charging.

It can be said that the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition has increased the charging power when the battery is guaranteed to be sufficient, and the K60 has provided a large-capacity battery while ensuring mainstream charging power.

The choice here depends on the user’s own considerations. It is a very reasonable situation to see how to make a choice, and there is no need to worry too much.

In terms of imaging, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition uses HM6’s 100-megapixel main camera, which supports 4K video recording and OIS optical image stabilization. It is not an excellent lens, but it is enough.

The Redmi K60 is equipped with an OV64B main camera, which is used as the main camera of mid-range phones or the telephoto or wide-angle of high-end phones. It is not very strong, but it supports 8K video recording and OIS optical image stabilization.

In terms of details, there is no particularly big difference. They all support upgrading to MIUI14, and there will be no problems with the fluency of daily use. As for features such as NFC, infrared remote control, dual speakers, and X-axis motor, they are also standard configurations, and they are also the key to promoting user experience.

Finally, there are some differences in price and memory between Redmi K60 and Redmi K50 Extreme Edition.

It has to be said that as a new machine, the Redmi K60 has no obvious price advantage, and the memory combination is also the same. However, the price of the Redmi K50 Extreme has dropped a lot after the baptism of time, and the memory combination is also more advantageous.

In other words, if you like high-cost performance, you can consider the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition. For users who like high-resolution and wireless charging, the Redmi K60 is also a very good choice.
