ROG has already confirmed that its next cell phone dedicated to the gamer universe will be launched today (03/10). On the eve of appearing to the world, the ROG Phone 5 won rendered images that were leaked in the last few hours. Responsible for them is Ishan Agarwal, a leaker who posted the images on his Twitter profile.
The shared photos by Ishan Agarwal show the Asus ROG Phone 5 in both color variants from all sides. The design is similar to the ROG Phone 3, while the front has practically not changed compared to its predecessor, at least there are a few chic, new design elements on the back. The SIM slot and the lock button are designed in an accent color on the new model.
The version in white, which looks impressive with its blue color accents, is completely new. According to the pictures, the ROG Phone 5 offers a USB-C and an AUX port on the bottom as well as another USB-C port on the left, via which the smartphone can be charged while it is held in landscape mode while gaming. This port should also be provided for connecting accessories, such as the cooler, which can already be seen in one of the pictures.
The Snapdragon 888 and at least one option of 18GB of RAM is the only features already confirmed for the new mobile phone from ASUS. Some other features appeared in leaks, including the double battery of 3000mAh each, adding up to a total of 6000mAh, with support for charging up to 65W and the Android 11 operating system.
In addition, the phone is expected to have a 6.78-inch OLED screen and Full HD resolution, supporting a high refresh rate, although there is no information regarding the presence of a 144 Hz screen, as in the current generation, or one with 160 Hz.
