Samsung Galaxy A04/A04e Released in India: 5000mAh Battery

Samsung launched two new budget smartphones in India today – Samsung Galaxy A04 And Galaxy A04e. Both devices feature sleek designs and are aimed at young people.

The Samsung Galaxy A04 And Galaxy A04e feature a 6.5-inch PLS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and an Infinity-V waterdrop notch. Both phones feature dual rear cameras, but only the Galaxy A04 has a 50-megapixel main camera. The Galaxy A04e uses a 13-megapixel main camera. Both phones have a 2-megapixel depth sensor to assist in capturing portrait images. On the front, both new phones feature a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e camera systems can record video at up to 1080p 30fps.

The Samsung Galaxy A04 And Galaxy A04e are powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chip. Samsung Galaxy A04e is available in three variants. 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 3GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. The Galaxy A04 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. Both phones support microSD expandable storage and run Android 12 pre-installed.

But none of these phones support 5G networks. The Galaxy A04 has GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apart from Wi-Fi 5, the Galaxy A04e also has the same connectivity options, as the phone is limited to Wi-Fi b/g/n. Both devices are powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. Since they lack fingerprint recognition, users must rely on facial recognition or a PIN/password to unlock the device.

The Samsung Galaxy A04 is available in three colors: black, copper and green. The 64GB version is priced at 11,999 Indian rupees (about 1,012 yuan), while the 128GB version is priced at 12,999 Indian rupees (about 1,096 yuan). The 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB versions of the Galaxy A04e are priced at 9299 Indian rupees (about 784 yuan), 9999 Indian rupees (about 843 yuan), and 11499 Indian rupees (about 969 yuan).
