The Samsung Galaxy S24 series mobile phone battery suppliers have increased in number compared to the three previously known. Furthermore, according to data provided by South Korean regulatory agency Safety Korea, Navitasys, an Indian company, has now become the fourth battery supplier for the Galaxy S24 series.
The data reveals that Navitasys is set to supply batteries with the model code EB-BS928ABY to Samsung, and these batteries will be utilized in the flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra. In contrast, the S24 and S24+ models will utilize batteries with model numbers EB-BS922ABY and EB-BS926ABY, respectively. However, it remains uncertain whether this Indian company will supply batteries for these two models.
Previously reported data in the agency’s list from the previous month indicated that the three previous suppliers for Galaxy S24 series mobile phones were Samsung SDI Vietnam, China’s Ningde New Energy, and India’s ELENTEC. It appears that Samsung will employ this three-pronged battery supplier strategy for the Galaxy S24+, and it’s likely that the standard and Ultra versions will follow suit.
Among these models, the Galaxy S24+ will receive batteries provided by the aforementioned three companies, specifically the model EB-BS926ABY. Rumors suggest that, of the three upcoming flagship phones, the Ultra version may undergo significant changes. It is rumored that the phone will feature a straight-screen design, and there have been reports indicating the use of a titanium alloy frame.
Furthermore, Ross Young, the CEO of the screen supply chain consulting company DSCC, recently stated in a tweet that the Galaxy S24 series models will be available in four colors: black, gray, purple, and yellow.
