According to SamMobile, Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 series mobile phones are the first smartphones to support detailed battery health information display.
The Galaxy S25 series (including the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 +, and Galaxy S25 Ultra) displays multiple battery health data when running One UI 7.0. This includes the battery health percentage, the number of charge cycles, the date the battery was manufactured, and the date the battery was first used. This information helps users better understand the status of the device battery, so as to optimize usage habits and extend the life of the phone.
It is worth noting that this feature is not available on Galaxy S25 series models in all countries or regions. Some devices may not display battery health information because they have not received the relevant firmware update. In addition, Samsung may only launch this feature in certain countries or regions.
Igeekphone noted that while Google has introduced detailed battery health information in Android 14, Samsung has not implemented this feature in One UI 6.0. The launch of the Galaxy S25 series marks Samsung’s follow-up in this field. However, it is unclear whether this feature will be pushed to older Galaxy devices through a future software update.
