Igeekphone News, July 3rd: Dutch technology media Galaxy Club published a blog post yesterday (July 2nd), revealing that the battery and main camera of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will follow the design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It still features a 5000mAh battery and a 200-megapixel main camera.
In terms of battery, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra continues to be equipped with a 5000mAh battery, which means that since the release of the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the battery capacity of Samsung’s Ultra flagship phones has remained unchanged. This means that the actual battery life of the S26 Ultra will entirely depend on the degree of system optimization and the performance of other hardware.
Igeekphone Note: If the battery capacity remains at 5000mAh again, it goes without saying that Samsung will not adopt the new silicon-carbon battery technology. Silicon-carbon batteries can store more energy in the same physical space, but a new steel shell battery may be used.
As for the main camera, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will still adopt a 200-megapixel main camera, but it is not yet confirmed whether it will be upgraded to a new sensor. However, the media speculated that there is a high probability that it will adopt the same model as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which means an upgraded shooting experience and still relies on algorithms.
