Samsung switched its smartwatch system from TizenOS to Wear OS two years ago. But for the Galaxy Watch 4, the battery life is a little short. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 has improved battery life and will continue to improve performance.
A 40mm version of Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 battery has been found on the Safety Korea website, model EB-BR935ABY, with a nominal capacity of 300mAh. By comparison, the 40mm Galaxy Watch 5 has a 284mAh battery. That’s 5% more volume. If Samsung brings a more energy-efficient display and chip, it can still offer longer battery life.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is available as SM-R93x for the 40mm version and SM-R94x for the 44mm version. There will likely also be a Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro with a larger battery capacity to extend battery life.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series will return to the curved screen design used in the Galaxy Watch Active 2, and will likely use Huaxing photoelectric display. The smartwatch will also bring an updated version of the One UI for Watch, improved activity and fitness tracking and longer battery life.
