Huawei will release the flagship folding screen Mate X2 this month, kicking off the folding screen mobile phone market in 2021. It is worth noting that Samsung is also preparing its own folding screen mobile phone, and it is expected to launch two models this year.
On February 5, it was reported that Samsung’s folding screen flagships to be released this year are called Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 3, etc. It is rumoured that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 flagships will be unveiled around July, which is earlier than previous years.
The report pointed out that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is also dual-screen, with a small screen size of 6.21 inches and a large screen size of 7.55 inches. The price is similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold 2, which is expected to be US$2,000 (approximately RMB 12,950).
As for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, this folding screen phone is still expected to continue the Galaxy Z Flip 5G’s up and down folding scheme. The screen size may be upgraded to 6.7 inches. It is rumoured to support a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
In terms of core configuration, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and other models or equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 flagship processor are expected to cost around 10,000 yuan.
