Igeekphone News, May 30th: According to the leaker Erencan Yılmaz, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 will have a globally unified configuration and all be equipped with its own Exynos 2500 chip.
In fact, the Samsung Exynos 2500 chip was originally planned to be used in the Galaxy S25 series. However, it encountered yield problems during the production process. Eventually, Samsung had to abandon this chip and instead adopt the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
At present, it seems that the production yield problem of Exynos 2500 has been solved and large-scale distribution will be achieved.
It is reported that the Exynos 2500 is built on a 3nm process technology and its CPU is designed with ten cores. It consists of 1×3.3GHz Cortex-X925+2×2.75GHz Cortex-A725+5×2.36GHz Cortex-A725+2×1.8GHz Cortex-A520.
This combination is very close to the recently released Xiaomi Xuanjie O1, but there are slight differences in the details.
The Xiaomi Xuanjie O1 is composed of 2×3.9GHz Cortex-X925+4×3.4GHz Cortex-A725+2×1.9GHz Cortex-A725+2×1.8GHz Cortex-A520.
Exynos 2500 has one more A725 core than Xuanjie O1, but one less X925 super-large core. Moreover, the frequencies of both the super-large core and the large core are lower than those of Xuanjie O1, and its theoretical performance will be weaker than that of Xuanjie O1.
The currently leaked Geekbench has also confirmed this fact. The single-core score of Exynos 2500 is 2012 points and the multi-core score is 7563 points.
For comparison, the single-core score of Xiaomi Xuanjie O1 is 3,008 points, and the multi-core score is 9,509 points.
