At the Intellectual Property Office in London, the trademark is in Class 9, the description leaves no room for doubt. ” Smartphone room; the camera for 3D virtual image generation; lens for your smartphone “.
Therefore, the name DepthVision appears to refer to a Time-of-Flight or a Deep Chamber. A week ago, Samsung also recorded its Make & Play 3D name. This seems to indicate that a ToF camera on Note 10 will have new features compared to the S10 5G.
Intellectual Property Office – is the governmental official body responsible for intellectual property rights in the UK. It is an executive agency of the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). IPO deals with the examination, issuance or rejection of patents and the keeping of UK intellectual property registers.
The two most advanced models in the Note 10 series will probably be equipped with a quad-camera system, including a 3D ToF camera. Cheaper models have three rooms in the back, here you will miss the ToF camera.
