That the new Zenfone 5, likely protagonists of the Asus event at the MWC 2018 next February 27th, could bet everything on the display in 18: 9 and on pairs of dual cameras we had already hypothesized, based on the clear signs that the market is sending during the last few months. Now, however, these insights have found the first possible confirmations, thanks to the renderings coming from the Asus (ZE620KL/X00QD) model manual.

This would be a low-end exponent of the new Asus Zenfone 5 family equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and 3GB of Ram. more than the specifications, however, to attract our attention – at least in this initial phase – it is the design, which could tell us a lot about the direction taken by the Taiwanese manufacturer for its next smartphone.

Here, in fact, the now unfailing display with elongated proportions, with all probability in 18: 9. The frames around, to be honest, do not seem exactly optimized, however, being an economic model, it would be an understandable choice. On the front, there is a camera and a large array of sensors, while at the rear stands the dual sensor organized vertically, iPhone X vogue. although it doesn’t have the iPhone X’s IR sensor for Face ID, we can be sure it’ll have its own face unlock technology. The lower edge is shown to be slightly thicker, however, is no longer home to a fingerprint scanner. At the top could be a secondary microphone for noise cancellation.

On the rear, The Asus Zenfone 5 contains a metal frame that lies between 2 sheets of glass and it has a dual camera vertically arranged, as in the iPhone X, however, the LED flash is on the side instead of between the 2 lenses. while the metal construction is suggested by the presence of traditional plastic bands for the antennas. there is conjointly a fingerprint reader on the rear, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm connector together with the speakers, microphone, and speaker grill are placed on the bottom cut. the volume rocker and power button are placed on the right and Sim tray is on the left. the finest members of the Zenfone 5 family will surely have more refined and catchy lines, but they’ll most likely not deviate from these guidelines.

    Zenfone 5 lite (ZC600KL/X017DA)

Recently yesterday we saw an official render of the Zenfone 5 life which was leaked by to Evan Blass. additionally to that is another official render (above) that shows the phone in 2 new colors, and a 2nd render that reveals some angles not visible in the official renders.

The lite model contains a bit more information. so the entry-level device of the series with snapdragon 660 and 4GB of RAM will already be quite well stocked.

On the both rear and front, there are dual cameras, at the front each consisting of dual 20MP sensors there’s conjointly a LED flash and a LED notification light at the far right corner, the rear is dual 16MP shooters installed and LED flash flanks it on the left and a fingerprint scanner is below the camera setup that is shown to have a little bump. Asus has settled for a micro USB port for the Zenfone lite and has placed the audio jack at the top.

The Zenfone 5 lite will come in Moonlight White, Midnight Black, and Rouge Red.
