According to digital blogger @digital Chat station, the first New Dimensity 9000 flagship (OPPO Find X5 series) is expected to be followed by two new Dimensity 9000 / Dimensity 8000 models (or Redmi K50 series) in the next month. Finally, it is mediatek’s turn to debut the new flagship.
The new OPPO Find X5 series will come in three versions, with snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 8 processors powering the small Find X5 and large Find X5 Pro, respectively. Both will be equipped with hasselblad certified and proprietary NPU chip “MariSilicon X” 6nm image processing chip.
However, it is important to note that the current version of Dimensity 9000 processor is not named, and OPPO’s own NPU chip will not be included in Dimensity 9000 OPPO Find X5.
In other news, the new OPPO Find X5 series will largely continue the ID design language of the previous generation, featuring a slightly curved OLED perforated flexible display on the front, a 120Hz refresh rate, and second-generation LTPO technology. Streamlined mirror back shell, the rear camera module will adopt a unique shaped, highly recognizable.
iGeekphone has reported that in addition to the three chips, qualcomm’s version was previously reported to be powered by OPPO’s own mariana MariSilicon X chip. This is the world’s first NPU chip dedicated to 6nm imaging, using self-developed AI computing unit, with the highest 18 TOPS AI computing power and energy efficiency ratio of 11.6 TOPS/W.
