In terms of the imaging system, the Xiaomi 16 is equipped with three rear cameras, each with a 50-megapixel resolution. These include a main camera with an OmniVision sensor from OmniVision, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor. The front camera is 32 million pixels, meeting the needs of high-quality selfies and video calls.
In terms of core performance, the Xiaomi 16 will be among the first to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This new chip is expected to have significant improvements in CPU and GPU performance as well as AI computing capabilities.
