After releasing the very successful budget flagship smartphone UMIDIGI F2, UMIDIGI launched another flagship of this year, its new sports smartwatch series -UMIDIGI Uwatch GT. The watch will be available globally at a discounted price (which is not unveiled yet) on 28th November, Thanksgiving day.
The killer feature of Uwatch GT is the 5ATM level water resistance, which means the watch is water-resistant up to a depth of 50 meters for 10 minutes and you have nothing to worry about when wearing it in daily life or swimming. This feature can only be found in expensive high-end watches before.
One of the biggest upgrades to the predecessor is the design. The Uwatch GT adopts a more premium rounded design with some improvements in the features. The watch adopts a 47mm body with a 1.3-inch display. The rounded and classy body takes shape around smooth edges, providing a timeless look suitable for sports and work. And there are two control buttons at the side like the Huawei Watch GT 2.
Another new to the device is support for the latest Bluetooth 5.0, which has a significant increase in connection stability, power consumption and data transfer compared to Bluetooth 4.0. The smartwatch is powered by an advanced low-power chip, paired with a smart power-saving algorithm that enables a two weeks battery life without a single charge.
On the software front, there’s support for advanced tracking with 12 compatible activities, including running, walking, hiking, cycling and swimming. UMIDIGI has also enhanced the heart rate monitoring feature.
The Uwatch GT has two variants — Matte Black and Midnight Green. Following the first sale of quad-camera power monster UMIDIGI Power 3, the smartwatch will start global sales at a discounted price on 28th November, and the promotion will last during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
