Game studio Mainframe Industries launched a new fantasy MMO called Pax Dei today. Officially called a “social sandbox MMO,” it’s a game where players and the community explore, build, risk, and create together.
Mainframe Industries is home to a number of dedicated developers from major game studios such as CCP, Remedy, Next Games, Ninja Theory, Blizzard Entertainment, Ubisoft, Rovio, and more. The Pax Dei game is based on mythological and medieval Settings, and its gorgeous visuals are created using Unreal Engine 5, IT Home has learned from reports.
“With Pax Dei, we invite players into a dark age of wonder, where myths are real, ghosts exist and magic is not questioned,” said game director and co-founder Reynir Hardarson. Pax Dei was built for the open world, and we can’t wait to see how players integrate into our world and watch their stories surface.”
