Vivo today announced its new iQOO Neo smartphone, which closely resembles its older brother Vivo iQOO, but adopts some solutions that allow it to contain the price decisively.
First of all is the choice of the Mobile Platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, last year’s flagship model but still able to beat any mid-range solution this year. Small adjustments also in the photographic sector, but a larger battery should be emphasized, with two decidedly attractive colors.
Speaking of technical characteristics, the Vivo iQOO Neo received a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED- display with a drop-shaped mono-brow, Full HD + (1080 × 2340) resolution and 19.5: 9 aspect ratio, which occupies 90% of the front surface area of the device.
The smartphone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with Adreno 630 graphics and 6GB / 8GB of RAM plus 64GB / 128GB of flash memory. Android 9.0 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 firmware is responsible for the work of the novelty.
On the back panel of iQOO Neo, there is a triple main camera with a main 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor and an aperture of f / 1.79, 8MP ultra wide sensor with a viewing angle of 108 degrees and an aperture of f / 2.2 and 2MP depth sensor with aperture f / 2.4. Resolution front camera is 12MP with aperture f / 2.0.
Also, the smartphone has received a new liquid cooling system and 4D Game Shock 2.0 feedback system. The fingerprint scanner is built into the display of the novelty. The battery capacity is 4500mAh with support for 22.5 W fast charge, which is able to charge the device from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes. Among other features: 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac. Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack.
Vivo iQOO Neo is available in black and purple. The price for the version with 6GB + 64GB is 1798 yuan ($261), for the version with 6GB + 128GB – 1998 yuan ($290), 2098 yuan ($305) for the version with 8GB + 64GB, and the version with 8GB + 128GB will cost 2298 yuan ($334). The smartphone is already available for pre-order.
