Xiaomi has released MI8 series in Shenzhen, China, although it is criticized by its design as iphone X lookalike, but their price still can give other brands like Huawei, Oppo, and VIVO much pressure. So in order to compete with Xiaomi, OPPO and VIVO has taken big action, VIVO announces they will release VIVO NEX on June 12, but OPPO is more powerful that they will release its future flagship, OPPO Find X.
Let’s see VIVO NEX first, in fact, this phone is shown at MWC 2018, called VIVO APEX, VIVO claims they will not mass produce APEX, although they have made breakthrough about 98% on its technology, so right now they will bring this 98% technology on a new model, VIVO NEX.
From the live images, VIVO NEX will support under display fingerprint scanner and pop-up front camera, we have no idea if they will use ultrasonic technology, hidden light sensor, etc. But from previous leaked image, NEX will not have four bezelless frame like APEX, but similar to that of MI MIX series with three bezelless design, but its chin will be narrowed a lot.
As for its specs, VIVO NEX will have two versions, Snapdragon 845 and Snapdragon 710 version, RAM 8GB, excellent camera and ultra-strong HIFI sound quality, etc.
But VIVO NEX price must be higher that Xiaomi MI8 Series, after all we have seen price leaked before, stay tuned.
