Yesterday, Vivo has released new flagship smartphone, Vivo X7 which is first front fingerprint ID smartphone for VIVO, it is powered by Snapdragon 652 Octa core processor, 5.2inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen, RAM 4GB ROM 64GB, 13MP front camera, F/2.2 big aperture and 16MP front camera with moonlight, F/2.0 aperture. It can support fingerprint scanner on Home button, 3,000mAh battery and runs Funtouch OS based on Android5.1 OS. So how is this Vivo X7? Let’s check the review first.

    Design

    C_副本

Vivo X7 continues to use the design of Vivo X6 or Vivo X6S with 2.5D screen and it uses metal body. Meanwhile it has added some fashion elements, first it adopts no Logo on the front design which is the first smartphone of Vivo to use this kind of design. Second, this time Vivo addes the fingerprint ID on the home button. At the buttom, it looks like iphone to have 3.5mm earphone jack, micro usb port and loudspeaker in lineup.

Vivo X7 has beautiful design, it controls its screen in 5.2inch with nice holding feeling and and easy operation. This time VIVO X7 has 7.24mm thickness thicker than Vivo X6 or Vivo X6S with 6.56mm thickness. We believe it’s due to the large 3,000mAh battery.

    Hardware

VIVO X7 has ROM 64GB which can meet our needs to store app or other large files, but it doesn’t support TF card expansion. It uses Snapdragon 652 processor and RAM 4GB which belongs to high-end standard and enough to use conveniently for better performance and game experience. Vivo X7 antutu test score has been over 80,000, so it proves VIVO X7 has nice experience for our daily needs.

    Camera

    1350129

Vivo X7 adopts 16MP front camera and 13MP back camera, which has created the first record in smartphone dual camera setting. VIVO X7 is powered by the second generation  compound eye image stabilization and the  algorithm of light view to strengthen, taking advantage of Snapdragon 652 ISP performance, even if we take photos in dim light, it can still shoot nice pictures. VIVO X7 can shoot at least 5 photos continuously by 13MP back camera. It has F2.2 big aperture, PDAF, OIS.  We choose the sunny day at the noon, but VIVO X7 exposure algorithm is inclined to shooting the sunny day to cloudy day effect, so it will not be so over exposure, the disadvantage is to miss some dim details about the pictures.

    Battery

    1350173

Vivo X7 uses 3,000mAh battery, built in Snapdragon 652 Cortex-A72 architecture, performing outstandingly than what we image. Meanwhile, it uses synchronous heartbeat, power-saving technology to control strictly power consumption. It has also supported dual engine quick charge technology to bring faster charging speed and more safe.

Let’s see VIVO X7 Battery Life Performance:

    1350058

Thanks to Snapdragon 652 high-efficiency and Funtouch OS power saving actions, although VIVO X7 only has 3,000mAh battery, it still performs well, when we test music, video, etc, it only consumes less than 10%, and it’s normal to consume the power in playing large games. And it takes only one hour and half an hour to charge full and it improves its overheating problem than before. VIVO x7 uses dual SIM card dual standby and 4G LET, the download speed has improved 100% in 4G LTE network in theory, due to Snapdragon 652 X8 LTE modem and VoLTE technology, which can call while surf the Internet.

    Conclusion

    1350039_副本

VIVO X series has different position from the VIVO XPlay series and Vivo XShot series, Vivo X1 and Vivo X3 focus on light and thin design, VIVO X5 Max with ultra thin design and HIFI function, VIVO x6 with RAM 4GB high-end performance for games. Until now, VIVO X7 will be back to a photographing device with 16MP front camera and moonlight. In addition, it has been powered by the latest Snapdragon 652 processor, dual engine quick charge, front fingerprint camera, split multi-tasking and whole eye protection mode. So are you satisfied with this VIVO X7?
