Vivo X80 Series is officially Released: With Dimensity 9000, Independent Chip V1+

Recently at the press conference yesterday night, the vivo X80 series was officially released. Among them, the basic version of vivo X80 standard version is equipped with MediaTek’s 4nm flagship chip Dimensity 9000 (Pro is the dual version of Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8), equipped with a V1+ self-developed image chip, and the pricing will be updated later.

In terms of imaging, the X80 standard version is the world’s first Sony IMX866 RGBW outsole sensor, ultra-low distortion ultra-wide-angle lens, and professional portrait lens, with a “textured portrait group photo” function, which supports up to 30 people for group photos, and the main camera, ultra-wide-angle, and front are the same. It has the ability of real-time blacklight night vision and supports 360-degree horizon image stabilization.

Vivo said that by learning from the training experience of the first-generation self-developed chip V1, the X80 is used to bring you a new self-developed chip V1+, which is not only an image chip, but also an independent display chip, and cooperates with the Dimensity 9000 to form the second Generation dual-core flagship.

It is said that the self-developed chip V1+ can accurately denoise, improve the purity of night scenes, and support the real-time processing of more complex algorithms.

Dimensity 9000 actually has nothing to say. The platform adopts Armv9 architecture, Cortex-X2 super core with a main frequency of 3.05GHz, and a 14MB large-capacity cache. It is worth mentioning that vivo announced that it has been jointly debugged with the MediaTek system, so the machine’s running score is close to 1.05 million.

In terms of games, vivo X80 supports 120FPS dual-core superframe (including 16 large-scale mobile games such as King of Glory, which can be inserted up to 120 frames), the industry’s first GPU Fusion game super score (low power consumption + stable frame), HDR independent display super clear (The visual perception of high dynamic game scenes that are too bright and too dark has been greatly improved), “Genshin Impact” has an average frame rate of 57.29fps at 60fps (the highest fuselage is 45.3℃), “Honor of Kings” is more stable, and the first 120fps extreme painting quality (118.96 fps for 4 hours, 26°C).

According to reports, the vivo X80 is equipped with a large-volume X-axis linear motor, which improves the response speed and reduces vibration noise. It is also suitable for 64 King of Glory heroes, more than 70 types of shooting guns for large-scale games, and 12 types of mechanical keyboards. Equipped with dual stereo speakers.

In addition, the machine uses a 4285mm² VC liquid-cooled soaking plate, which is the largest VC soaking plate in vivo. At the same time, the X80 is also the whole machine with the highest heat dissipation score in vivo.

In terms of battery life, the vivo X80 supports dual-cell 80W flash charging, charging 50% in 11 minutes, and it only takes 34 minutes to fully charge, and it has passed the Rheinland fast charging safety certification. At the same time, vivo also said that the X80 battery life was extended by 25%.

The whole series of vivo has been upgraded. The X80 is equivalent to the previous generation X70 Pro, and the X80 Pro is equivalent to the X70 Pro+. As for the X80 Pro+, it will not arrive until the release of the Snapdragon 8+ (sm8475) in the second half of the year. Therefore, vivo X80 Pro provides a new generation of Snapdragon 8 and Dimensity 9000 dual versions, with almost the same hardware configuration except for the chip (but 8+256GB only provides the Snapdragon version), it seems to be slightly different in terms of image and screen.
