On April 25, Vivo unveiled the Vivo X80 series flagship phone. It was previously revealed that Vivo’s next flagship, Vivo X90 series phones, will be released in December this year. Today, a blogger exposed more information about Vivo X90 series phones.
According to the digital blogger @digital chat station today revealed that Vivo X90 standard edition will use 1.5K resolution screen, and fast charging large upgrade, the big bottom of the main camera fine-tuning small upgrade, the main camera model is still IMX8XX. In the case of the highly equipped Vivo X90 Pro/Pro+, the 2K screen has received a minor upgrade to its substrate, and the image has been upgraded to a 1-inch master camera + high pixel ultra telephoto, all of which will use the new flagship platform.
On August 4 this year, the blogger revealed the charging scheme of Vivo X90 series. He said Vivo X90 series is struggling with whether to upgrade to 120W fast charging or to popularize 80W wired + 50W wireless charging solution. For reference, the standard edition of Vivo X80 uses a 4500mAh battery + 80W wired fast charging solution, which does not support wireless charging. Vivo X80 Pro has a built-in 4700mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charge + 50W wireless fast charge.
On September 19, the blogger said that Vivo X90 series phones have two screen sizes, namely a 1.5K resolution BOE screen and a 2K resolution E6-based Samsung (SDC) screen.
On July 23, Jia Jingdong, vice president of Vivo brand and general manager of brand and product strategy, revealed that Vivo will bring a telephoto experience close to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and can focus on the “mid-August, mid-November” two nodes.
Vivo X80 / Pro phones start at 3,699 yuan. Vivo X80 is equipped with Mediatek Dimensity 9000 chip, adopting 6.78-inch Samsung E5 1080P + 120Hz AMOLED hyperbolic screen, and the rear three cameras are 50MP main cameras (IMX866, RGBW, OIS, 1/1.49 inch output 1/1.56) +12MP ultra wide Angle (IMX663) +12MP telephoto portrait (IMX663).
