As you may have already understood, VORKE Notebook 15 comes in two configurations: the most interesting is an Intel Core i5-8250U (Kaby Lake R) , while the cheaper one uses an older Intel Core i7-4500U (Haswell) . Both are 15W CPUs – although built with different production processes (14 nm and 22 nm), but to avoid sudden drops in performance or overheating, VORKE has designed a very efficient dissipation system with a centrally positioned fan. On board, moreover, 8GB of DDR3 RAM and 256GB SSD that together will make this notebook suitable for office applications, home use and – why not – a few hours of leisure with light gaming.
The 15.6 inch Full HD IPS screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) integrates a 1.3MP webcam with microphone in the upper frame, despite being very thin like the side ones, for a screen-to-body ratio of 89.5%. According to the Chinese company, the 44 Whr battery should guarantee good autonomy. Connectivity is standard: dual-band WiFi 802.11ac , Bluetooth 4.2, a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and a microHDMI, a microSD card reader and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
We also appreciate the presence of a backlit full-size keyboard and a very large Precision Touchpad (5.9 inches) with support for multi-gestures. VORKE Notebook 15 weighs 1.78 Kg, measures 370 x 245 x 19 millimeters and runs on Windows 10.
