What should I do when I lose my phone?

We are deeply aware of the power of smart phones, eating, drinking, playing, clothing, housing and transportation can help us arrange no problem, and now you can go out without anything, but the mobile phone must be taken, it can be said that relying on a mobile phone can “go around the world”.

Of course, although the mobile phone can give us convenience, but things are always accidentally lost, today’s mobile phone contains too much of our privacy information, and through the mobile phone can operate too many things, once lost will bring us a lot of security risks. Since many people have not experienced losing their mobile phones, they do not know what to do after losing their mobile phones for the first time, and only feel that they should call the police and quickly find their mobile phones.

In fact, the alarm is important, but if it is determined that the phone is lost, the first thing to do is these two things.

    1. Lock your phone with another device

Now most people’s mobile phones will bind some bank cards, wallet balances, and the lock screen password is mostly the same as the payment password, so it is very easy to lose money after the mobile phone is lost.

Most mobile phone brands now have their own accounts, and support finding the location of the device and remotely locking the phone. Therefore, when we determine that the mobile phone is lost, the first time is to log in to their system account through other devices with Internet access, find the location of the device and remotely lock it.

At present, mobile phone brands such as Apple have supported the search of the mobile phone in the shutdown state, which can also quickly lock the location of the mobile phone, help us quickly find the mobile phone, if the criminals get it, it can also be quickly locked to prevent information leakage and second loss of money.

    2. Report the loss of SIM card

Once you determine that your mobile phone is lost, and it is difficult to get it back, then the second thing to do is to report the loss of your SIM card, that is, your mobile phone card, to avoid more losses in the later period, and inform the operator to lock various services about the mobile phone card, after all, many mobile phone apps now only need to receive the verification code, you can carry out a lot of operations.

Reporting the loss of mobile phone card is also very simple, if you carry your own ID card directly to the counter, if it is not convenient for relatives and friends to report the loss remotely.

In general, mobile phone loss is still a very dangerous thing, now so intelligent modern society, mobile phones have too much information about us, related to our various privacy property. Therefore, the first thing to think about when the phone is lost is not how to quickly find the phone, and in this period of time, the first to protect their property and privacy security, even if the phone is not found back later, there is no need to worry about their information being leaked.
