Xiaomi launched the “equal depth micro-curved screen” at the Xiaomi conference. This screen creates a floating effect when lit, resembling a perfectly symmetrical four-curved screen. Lei Jun stated that the Xiaomi screen engineering team invested two years in pre-research, allocated 18 times the R&D expenses, and applied for over 130 patents for screen development. The Xiaomi 14 Pro phone features a four-curved screen on the front and back, boasting a 2K resolution (522 PPI), claimed to outshine the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Lei Jun explained that Xiaomi utilized a 16.4μm packaging layer and conducted simulation modeling and stress analysis to build one million precision finite element meshes, enhancing elasticity by 1.5 times. This approach prevents screen cracks during arc bending.
Furthermore, the screen employs FIAA’s “in-pixel routing technology,” adding a new metal layer and bundling signal lines within the screen, increasing the cost compared to traditional Fanout routing technology, which bundles the lines outside the display area.

Xiaomi has announced a follow-up to the Xiaomi Mi 14 Pro Titanium Special Edition mobile phone, which is part of Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro series. The Xiaomi Mi 14 Pro Titanium Special Edition is available at a price of 6,499 yuan and features a storage capacity of 16GB and 1TB. All other specifications remain identical to the original version.
During the press conference, it was revealed that this device utilizes a 99% titanium middle frame, which is adorned with double-sided Xiaomi Dragon Crystal glass. The phone’s aesthetic is enhanced by an orange halo and a starry sky design. Moreover, the titanium middle frame has been specially treated with an anti-fingerprint coating.
