The well-known blogger “Digital Chat Station” has exposed the wireframe design of the new flagship models of the parent series at the end of the year. It mainly shows the lens shapes of the flagship phones of various manufacturers. The model with a large matrix module design in the lower right corner is the Xiaomi 16 series, and its design style pays tribute to the classic Xiaomi 11 Ultra.
From the wireframes of the new phones shared by the “Digital Chat Station”, it can be roughly analyzed that the four phones are respectively the OPPO Find X9 series, the vivo X300 series, the Honor Magic 8 series and the Xiaomi 16 series.

Among them, the standard version of OPPO Find X9 is the first to be equipped with the Mediatek Dimensity 9500 chip, featuring a 6.59-inch quad-equal-sided straight screen. It is also equipped with a 1/1.4-inch 50-megapixel large-sensor main camera at the back. Additionally, it is equipped with a periscope telephoto lens, ultrasonic screen fingerprint recognition, wireless fast charging, full-level water resistance, and a large-capacity silicon-carbon anode battery.
The Xiaomi 16 series will be the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, while continuing the screen configuration of 1.5K for the standard version and 2K for the Pro version. Current information indicates that the engineering test machine is equipped with a 7000mAh ultra-large capacity battery. Meanwhile, the new machine will also be equipped with the Pengpai OS 3.0 system, which will bring seamless interaction and flexible notifications across multiple terminals.

The most notable change in the Xiaomi 16 series is its appearance design. The rectangular lens module in the upper left corner that has been used for three generations may be abandoned. It is highly likely to be replaced by the long rectangular design shown in the line drawing, which is similar in style to the lens module of the Xiaomi 11 Ultra.
