Xiaomi Mi 5 Getting Android 11 Update After 4 Years

Do you still have Mi 5 in your hand? The drawer is ugly, you can upgrade to Android 11. Thanks to the work of XDA Spanish developers, after Xiaomi Mi 5 is flashed into the latest LineageOS 18.0 system, the bottom layer will be iterated to Android 11.

Mi 5 is a flagship mobile phone released in 2016. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB LPDDR4 memory, 32GB UFS 2.0 flash memory, and a 3000mAh battery.

At the beginning of the release, Xiaomi Mi 6 was only pre-installed with the Android 6.0 system and later stopped at MIUI 10 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. In addition to Mi 5, Mi 5s Plus is also fortunate, a dual-camera Snapdragon 821 flagship machine with a running memory of 6GB.

In terms of experience, the basic functions of Xiaomi Mi 5 are available after the upgrade, all settings are normal, and the developer has directly advanced it to the Beta stage.
