Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi Mix 3 and Other OLED Models Join AOD Display: Support For Dual-Screen Clock

Xiaomi Product Director and MIUI Experience General Manager @MIUI Xiaofan announced some progress and achievements of MIUI in the past two months.

In the past two months, MIUI has made a turn adjustment to the flagship of OLED screen released by Xiaomi in the past two years and added AOD’s interest screen display function.

@MIUI Xiaofan introduced, color information screen style adapts to all OLED screen models (not including Xiaomi Note 2), while increasing the interest screen dual clock, open dual clock in the clock settings (development version).

In addition, MIUI also added Dark mode, the specific adjustment is as follows:

• 1, the dark mode has been adapted to all Android P models (development version + partial stable version)
• 2, has been adapted to 16 system-level applications (development version)

@MIUI Xiaofan said that MIUI continues to adapt the application because if the effect is good, it is necessary to redesign the color matching and adaptation one by one like iOS. For the three-party application that is not adopted, we will use the Android feature to do the global forced dark mode.
