I know that lately Xiaomi and Mi A1 didn’t go well with updating. Despite the fact that they met the final countdown and Android 8.0 was given a few hours before the end of 2017 as it was promised, the first release and the update after that, brought a lot of problems to their owners and a lot of complains to Xiaomi. This made the company to withdraw the first release and the update after that. Just a few minutes before, announcement came out from the company, that a new update is ready to be given to the users, bringing a lot of fixes and updates. So let’s see first the highlights of this third release of Android O for Xiaomi Mi A1.

- Picture-in-Picture mode: you can now continue watching a video or answer a video call while you are performing some other task with your mobile
- Improved notifications: with this update you can snooze the notifications
- Adaptive icons

- An integration of the performance optimization of MIUI was made

- The Feedback APP was updated
