Today Xiaomi and Oculus cooperate to release a Xiaomi MI VR All-in-One Headset and Oculus Go at CES 2018 , which have been attracted a lot, when is released has become the most caring question. Just now Lei Jun shows on Weibo that Xiaomi MI all-in-One VR headset has been released at CES 2018, they will start to sell in China as soon as possible.
Xiaomi All in one VR is the version released in China, in October, 2017, the released one, Oculus Go is the overseas version excluding China. Two VR all in one headset doesn’t need to connect PC or insert phone, which can bring more flexible experience, standing for latest development of VR hardware product .
Xiaomi official shows this two new VR will sell at more favorable price, which can make more people to experience VR interest.
It is said that Xiaomi MI VR All in one headset and Oculus Go have same hardware, they both are powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, adopting Fast-Switch 2K (2560*1440) screen, and new-gen optical lens.
In addition, Xiami MI VR all in one headset can also support panoramic audio frequency technology developed by Oculus. It is built in a pair of earphone, and 3.5mm earphone jack offered.
As for content, Xiaomi MI VR app will offer 3D movies, 360 degree panoramic video and body sensing games, etc. Besides, Xiaomi will introduce hot games, videos, and apps in Oculus App to China, which makes Chinese consumers enjoy high-level mobile VR content.
The ex vice CEO of Xiaomi, Oculus leader, Facebook VR vice CEO, Hugo Barra claims this VR plays a very important role in VR hardware development. According to cooperation between Xiaomi and Oculus, Oculus Go and Xiaomi MI VR all in one headset can achieve the first breakthrough between moible VR and PC VR, they believe this all in one VR will enter the simplest way of VR.
