Xiaomi has launched Mi Band HRX Edition in India in partnership with HRX by Hrithik Roshan first home grown fitness brand have signed a strategic business partnership to boost the fitness wearable category.In line with this Xiaomi on Friday announced the launch of its next wearable Mi band in association with the HRX brand which is a clothing and accessories line named after movie star Hrithik Roshan.
Xiaomi first time launched a product line on a celebrity globally. The new Mi Band HRX Edition will be launched in India on September 18. HRX edition will offer an improved tracking algorithm to accurately monitor your activities and promises.
Xiaomi Mi Band HRX Edition boasts more than 23 days of usage on a single charge. It comes with 2nd generation low-energy Bluetooth 4.0 chipset and a power efficient OLED display with 7 Grams ultra light body. It can monitor your steps, calories burnt, and sleep patterns, as well as display notifications including incoming calls or text messages. It has the resistance capability towards the scratches and fingerprints. This Mi Band also received the IP67 certification and had the splash and dust resistance.
Xiaomi Mi bands has been an issue in India since the company has been under estimating demand. Managing director Manu Jain said while supply and availability of Xiaomi will this time ensure proper and adequate availability so that the new product is available throughout the year.He also pointed out that Xiaomi has been a top name in the wearable segment for some quarters.
Mi Band HRX Edition will be on sale at a price of Rs 1299, starting from September 18, 2017 on Mi.com and Mi Home stores. Following that, from September 20, it will also be available on e-commerce websites Flipkart, Amazon, and Myntra. Mi Band HRX Edition will also be available for a special preview sale at Xiaomi’s fitness partner in Bangalore. Curefit on the Curefit app and all Cult fitness centres between 18 to 20 September. The blue colour strap of the Mi Band HRX Edition will be available at a price of Rs. 299.
