Mi Max 3 launch is set for today, the latest model in Xiaomi’s phablet series. The Mi Max 3 launch event is scheduled for 10 am CST (7:30 am IST) today, and ahead of its launch, Xiaomi has revealed most of the specifications of the smartphone, as well as a price range. Fear not, the Mi Max 3 will not be more cumbersome as a result. Using the trendy new 18:9 aspect ratio it will be tall rather than wide, probably with slimmer bezels too.

There are options of 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
The Mi Max 3 will feature a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. It will bear an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone has a typical battery capacity of 5,500mAh, ana d minimum capacity of 5,400mAh, with support for Quick Charge 3.0 18W charging. It will be available in Black, Blue, and Gold. The smartphone will come with AI-based Face Unlock the Bokeh effect in selfie camera, and an AI-powered digital assistant, amongst other AI features, the company teased.
As for connectivity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 support dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 base 4GB variant is priced at 1699 yuan/US$ 252. while the 6GB variant goes for 1999 yuan/US$ 296. It will go on sale in China starting from July 20th, but there is presently no word on international availability.
