Despite being a phone aimed at a very specific audience, the Xiaomi Mi Max is one of the terminals of the catalog of the Chinese firm best valued by users. In the middle of the last year 2017, we witnessed the arrival of the 2nd generation of this family, in the form of one of the largest phones available in the market. However, it seems that Xiaomi intends to once again surpass itself. And, if only a few weeks ago we learned that the new Mi Max 3 would have an even bigger screen than its predecessors and today we receive new render about the mid-range beast that Xiaomi is preparing for this 2018.
Today’s new render shows us a supposed Mi Max 3 with a strong inspiration in Mi Mix 2. There are certain details that we have to take into consideration. If this render proves true we can breathe a sigh of relief because the Chinese brand will not reintroduce the front camera at the bottom of the smartphone.
This is probably one of the worst places for the front dual camera. Or twist the smartphone to take a selfie or end up at a nasty angle and it’s no use having to turn upside down to take a selfie.
We can still see in the image the dual camera that is identical to the Mi 6. This dual camera should take into account the bokeh effect that the company has been perfecting. Xiaomi seriously needs to give us a decent camera in its future Mi Max 3.
The Fingerprint sensor will be dragged to the back as in Mi Mix 2. I do not consider the best location, however, given the lack of front margins I find it acceptable.
In addition, recently, all the parameters of the smartphone battery crisis, Xiaomi Mi Max 3 screen has been revealed on social network Weibo, China. Specifically, the Mi Max 3 screen will be up to 6.99 inches in size and 18: 9 aspect ratio. Last month, Xiaomi entered the smartphone race in the near full screen with Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus.
Other specifications of the Mi Max 3 include a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. But the leaked image shows Mi Max 3 has a dual camera behind. Based on storage and Ram, the Mi Max 3 comes in two versions, 3GB RAM, 64GB and 4GB RAM, 128GB. A source on Weibo said the smartphone is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 635 chip. However, other reports suggest that Mi Max 3 uses the Snapdragon 660 chip.

Battery capacity is the most prominent feature of Mi Max series so Mi Max 3 is no exception. The handset is expected to have a battery of up to 5,500 mAh, which supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology. No mention of software, but Mi Max 3 will run Android Nougat with interface MIUI 9.
