The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, along with the Xiaomi Mi 7, is one of the most anticipated devices of the Chinese manufacturer. We are expected to know its official features at the end of the month in its presentation but, before that, a new image of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S has been leaked compared to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.
Although it is the most awaited terminal of the brand, it is not the only device that the eastern firm could present on March 27. Yesterday the CEO of Xiaomi said that the release of the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 would take place very soon, being able to coincide in space and time with the presentation of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S.
So far several images of Xiaomi’s new phone had been leaked, but now a picture of the back of the smartphone has just appeared on the Web, compared to the back profile of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, the predecessor of the smartphone that we will see in just 3 weeks.
According to a recently leaked benchmark, the score of a device codenamed Polaris has scored 270,000 scores in AnTuTu 7.0. It is said to be the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S, with others to indicate that it is an SND845 version of the original Mi MIX 2. The tests were conducted in version 7.0 of the program. Unlike 6.0, there are some improvements that increase previous stats. The Kirin 970 of Huawei Mate 10 is now close to 210K, while the Xiaomi Mi 6 with the Snapdragon 835 at 200K.
There is still no concrete information available about the phone’s design since everything we work with leaks. However, the latest images appeared on the network agree on the presence of a dual chamber vertically stacked as the iPhone X. The two sensors would be separated by the LED flash of the camera, being the main novelty of this component.
Another information left by this new image of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S compared to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is that both will share the fingerprint sensor on the back, in a shell made of ceramic. yes, there is no trace of the golden frame that surrounds the camera in the original Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and that, personally, we find horrible.
As expected, the most striking of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is in what this image does not show, the front. Not that it matters too much since a few days ago we saw the front profile of the device showing what appears to be a fingerprint reader located under the glass. The filtering of the image that we bring you today eliminates this possibility, because as you can see, the fingerprint reader is in the back, as we have advanced in the previous paragraph.
The other features of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S are headed by a Snapdragon 845 processor, a 6-inch OLED screen and an 8 GB RAM. All seasoned with Android 8.0 Oreo with MIUI 9 and artificial intelligence technology in the phone’s camera.
