Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 Could Have a 120 Hz Display and an Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor


Little by little new rumors and supposed leaks are coming in relation to the expected Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 which existence has already been officially confirmed, without knowing what its date of presentation will be.

Even so, much of the rumor suggests that this new Xiaomi flagship will incorporate quite striking specifications, such as its 120Hz AMOLED display or its powerful Snapdragon 855+. This is joined by the possibility that the new Mi Mix 4 incorporates an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

To date, all smartphones that have been launched by Xiaomi incorporating an on-screen fingerprint reader have been of the optical type. A technology that without being the best, has evolved to approach the performance provided by traditional readers.

Specifically, these types of sensors have an operation through a small camera located under the terminal screen. That is why the behavior of this technology is somewhat slower by having to process the photograph obtained and check it with the previously saved footprint.

To overcome this small inconvenience, the fingerprint sensors were created under the ultrasonic type screen. A breakthrough in this type of identification that could come integrated in the new Mi Mix 4, thus obtaining a performance practically on par with the traditional sensors that were located at the rear of the terminal.

Without a doubt, if we collect all the rumors that have appeared in relation to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 which could become one of the most complete of Xiaomi. With this, the brand could compete even with the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 + that since this last generation already incorporates ultrasonic fingerprint sensors.
