Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Will Not Arrive, Confirmed By Bishop Edward

Long-awaited for the presentation by Xiaomi on September 24, the Mi Mix 4 smartphone was absent from it, which focused on the conceptual Mi Mix Alpha. However, that was not enough to calm the rumors related to the device, which many “reliable sources” claimed were still under development.

To calm the situation, the manufacturer released a statement last Sunday (29) clarifying that the Mi Mix 4 is not in its plans. According to brand promotion executive Edward Bishop, the company is working on a single device and should also focus on a single vision for MIUI 11 and Xiaomi Full Screen TV Pro.

Earlier reported rumors indicated that the Mi Mix 4 would be a more affordable alternative to the new smartphone, featuring the same 108MP sensor that will be present in it. However, it seems that Xiaomi has decided to follow a unique path and has not separated its development capacity into 2 distinct products.

The bet on Mi Mix Alpha is consistent with the proposal of the manufacturer, who always used its Mix line to introduce new concepts to the market. With a 7.92-inch screen, the device will feature the Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 5G capacity with support for 2 SIM cards and at least 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
