Recently, Xiaomi has announced its innovative Mi Mix Alpha smartphone. It received the original display, occupying 180.6% of the body area. The device also became the world’s first smartphone with a 108MP camera. The stated price at the presentation was $2830. It was too expensive for any smartphone. Even a smartphone with a Samsung Galaxy Fold flexible display costs about $2000.
The tech fans are now talking about what Xiaomi might add or improve to continue its success with the Mi Mix Alpha series. The ConceptsiPhone YouTube channel has now uploaded a brand new video showing the concept design of the Mi Mix Alpha P with a number of interesting additions and improvements to the phone.
According to ConceptsiPhone, Mi Mix Alpha P will have a full screen back, but not as full as Mi Mix Alpha. Instead, this part of the screen will be hidden inside through an open scrolling system. The axle allows the smartphone to be folded very small like a remote TV but can be pulled out like a medium-sized tablet.
Xiaomi’s new smartphone is also expected to have a square design, small top, and bottom borders, the top of the phone still has enough space to accommodate the front camera and sensors. The back is where the three-lens camera is located vertically with high resolution, with a ToF sensor to measure the depth of 3D images when shooting portraits.
We also see the inexistence of the biometric sensor. As Xiaomi has already launched biometric sensor devices on the screen, it is to be believed that all of its range tops will follow this trend. In addition, most likely Chinese companies also equipped with a powerful configuration for this device.
The concept isn’t based on anything but its creator’s imagination, but it’s still fun to imagine the direction Xiaomi could go in down the road.
