On the evening of August 11, Xiaomi officially released a new generation of fold-screen phone MIX Fold 2, which has a 5.4mm ultra-thin body, self-developed integrated micro-drop rotating shaft, and two flagship screens inside and outside, etc.

Mi MIX Fold 2 is only 11.2mm thick and 262g in weight. Such thin folding thickness also makes it extremely thick at 5.4mm on one side when unfolded, which is also the thinest 5G phone in the world (non-folded).
Mi MIX Fold 2 is equipped with the third-generation rotating shaft technology “micro-droplet shape rotating shaft” developed by Xiaomi. The highly integrated rotating shaft reduces the redundant complex structure and makes the rotating shaft more concise. It also reduces the folding thickness of the whole rotating shaft to only 8.8mm, 30% thinner and 35% lighter than the industry’s common thickness of 11 and 12mm.
The interior screen of Mi MIX Fold 2 is the only one that adopts Samsung Eco OLED material in China, with a resolution of 2160×1914. The Eco OLED screen has 33% enhanced light transmittance and is the only folding interior screen on the market to achieve a high brightness of 1000nit full screen. The 4:3.55 interior screen provides a tablet-level view for both office and entertainment.
The external screen is a 6.56-inch 2520×1080 resolution with a mainstream 21:9 aspect ratio. The latest E5 material offers 1000Nit full screen brightness and a 16% reduction in power consumption.

Xiaomi has also adapted large screen for all system applications on the MIX Fold 2, and supports three-finger fast split screen, multi-small window, small sidebar fast window and other large screen unique experiences.
