According to industry insider Ross Young, the mi MIX FOLD’s 8.1-inch screen is comparable to the iPad Mini 6’s 8.3-inch screen.
In addition, the mi MIX FOLD’s second generation is also dual-screen design, which supports high refresh rate on both the inner and outer screens, while the previous generation of mi MIX FOLD’s inner screen does not support high refresh rate.
In addition, the Mi MIX FOLD 2nd generation is expected to be upgraded to an all-new LTPO screen, which means the opportunity supports adaptive refresh rates.
The core of this technology is to make the hardware screen refresh rate accurately match the software content frame rate on the premise of ensuring high brush smoothness, so as to reduce the power consumption waste caused by the screen repeatedly refreshing the same content.
