Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its next-generation Mi Pad 5 tablet on August 10th along with the Mi Mix 4 phone. In an advertising poster on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, the company has confirmed that the tablet will come with pen support. Old leaks have suggested the development of three tablets – Mi Pad 5, Mi Pad 5 Pro, and Mi Pad 5 Lite.
In this regard, a Weibo blogger @WHYLAB leak new information and posted photos of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro packaging box. He said that Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro will feature 8 speakers, and Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos support. This information can also be seen from the box.
IT Home understands that it can be confirmed that the Mi Tab 5 series will support a pressure-sensitive stylus, and the screen is expected to use a 2K resolution 120Hz refresh rate LCD screen, but it is not clear whether the Pro version will use an OLED screen. Lei Jun also said that the Mi Pad 5 will have ” extremely stunning sound quality, clear treble, and deep bass.”
In the previous official teaser, you can see the black packaging box on the back, which is expected to be the Snapdragon 870 processor equipped Xiaomi Mi Tab 5 Pro.
