In addition to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, Xiaomi has prepared for the release of two new tablets within the Mi Pad 5 series: the standard Mi Pad 5 and the improved Mi Pad 5 Pro (with an additional 5G modification). These are the first tablets released by the company in 3 years. The Chinese brand has just presented Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro, two tablets that resemble the iPad Pro in terms of design. In this article, we will see What’s the difference between Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 vs. Mi Pad 5 Pro? Let’s check out a quick comparison review.

    Design

The Mi Pad 5 and the Mi Pad 5 Pro both have a thickness of 6.9mm, weighing in at 511 grams and 515 grams respectively. These tablets have an aluminum build with flat edges and support stylus and a keyboard attachment. Both tablets feature an 11-inch 2.5K (2560×1600 pixels) resolution 10-bit display with minimal bezels. The LCD screen supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and is certified for HDR10 playback. The display has a wide color gamut and supports true tone technology.

    Hardware

The Mi Pad 5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor that has an octa-core CPU running at up to 2.96GHz with Adreno 640 graphics. This is paired with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options to choose from. Meanwhile, the Mi Pad 5 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor with an octa-core CPU running at up to 3.2GHz and Adreno 650 graphics. This is backed by up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB storage. Both tablets run on the latest MIUI 12.5 which is based on Android 11.

    Features

The Mi Pad 5 has a 13MP camera on the back that can record in 4K UHD at 30FPS and an 8MP selfie camera upfront. The Mi Pad 5, on the other hand, has a 50 MP primary camera on the 5G model and a 13MP sensor on the W-Fi only model. There is a 5MP depth sensor as well and the rear cameras can record in 4K UHD. Like the standard Mi Pad 5, the Pro model also gets an 8MP selfie camera. The Mi Pad 5 has 4 speaker units that make up its stereo speaker system; while the Mi Pad 5 Pro has 8 speaker units in total. The Mi Pad 5 is equipped with an 8,720mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging while the Mi Pad 5 Pro has an 8,600mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

    Conclusion

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and the Mi Pad 5 Pro share a lot in common; with a similar design and the same display. Both the tablets support a stylus and keyboard just like the iPad Pro and have a large battery to boot. Here’s everything we know about the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro. The standard version comes with a Snapdragon 860 and has no GPS; no fingerprint sensor, and “only” four speakers at the start.

The Mi Pad 5 Pro, on the other hand, gets a faster Snapdragon 870, a second camera lens, GPS, a fingerprint sensor, and eight speakers. The most expensive version is the Xiaomi Mi Pad Pro 5G. This version stands out from the other two models with a 50-megapixel main camera and a SIM slot with 5G support.  We can buy Both From Geekbuying at the Lowest price, Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 at $409.99 (349€) by using coupon code: GKB757S, and Mi Pad 5 Pro at $735.99 (626.4€) by using coupon code: GKB758S in Flash Sale.
