The real shot shows that the Xiaomi Mi TV 5 Pro 65-inch continues the ultra-narrow bezel, thin body and high-screen ratio design of Xiaomi Mi TV. It is understood that Xiaomi Mi TV 5 series will be equipped with a 4K quantum dot screen, NTSC color gamut up to 108%, while carrying MEMC dynamic image quality compensation technology, making the motion picture more smooth, the movement details are more clear.
Previously, the official release details show that the Xiaomi Mi TV 5 uses a metal frame, and the side frame is also printed with the English design of “Designed By Xiaomi”, which is quite textured. In terms of graphics, the GPU was upgraded from Mali 450 to Mali-G31, supporting the latest OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan 1.1 APIs. Amlogic T972 supports 8K (7680×4320) 10bit YUV4:2:0 high dynamic HDR format video decoding; the color level of each color channel is increased from 256 levels of 8bit to 1024 levels of 10bit.
In terms of core configuration, Xiaomi Mi TV 5 is equipped with a 12nm process T972 chip, which is jointly developed by Xiaomi and Amlogic. With a quad-core Cortex-A55 architecture, the clock speed is up to 1.9GHz, which is 63% better than the previous generation’s 1.5GHz T962 performance. At the same time, Amlogic T972 integrates about 1.5 billion transistors, about three times as many as the previous generation.
