Xiaomi MI8 uses similar dual camera as MI MIX 2S, a wide-angle Sony IMX363 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 1.4micron pixel size and a secondary 12-megapixel S5K3M3 sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 1micron pixel size. After adjusting, mi8 has got 105 points in DxOMark, over iPhone X with 99 points.
As for its front camera, it has 20MP with f/2.0 aperture with a massive pixel size of 1.8micron. It supports AI portrait selfies and AI Beauty.
The other big feature of Xiaomi MI8 is to use infrared camera, supporting face ID, which can unlock fast under dark environment, according to its official, it can construct 4096 feature of human face, avoiding image, video to attach.
It supports NFC which can be used in 167 cities. Besides, MI8 is the first global dual-GPS smartphone （L1+L5）, Xiaomi also uses extreme GPS test, painting black on the car glass to use MI8 to navigate.
As for its price, Xiaomi MI8 6gb 64gb sells at only 2,699 yuan, (~$421) 6GB+128GB at 2,999 yuan, (~$468) and 6GB+256GB at 3,299 yuan, (~$515).
Besides Xiaomi MI8, they also releases Xiaomi MI8 Searching version, which adds high responsive force sensor, which can improve unlocking speed, meanwhile, it has better unlocking experience, it is the first phone to use 3D structure light technology with face ID, based on this function, Xiaomi MI8 searching version will have better and safer face recognition, about its price, Xiaomi MI8 Searching version sells at 3,699 yuan, $616 (8GB+128GB)
In MI8 series, Xiaomi MI8 SE also exists, for those users who like small screen, MI8 SE is a better choice, it has 5.88 inch AMOLED screen with 2244×1080 resolution, 18.7:9 aspect ratio, offering red, jet blue, golden and dark grey colors, MI 8 SE is the first Snapdragon 710 smartphone, built in 3,120mAh battery, 4GB 64GB version sells at 1,799 yuan, $299, and 6GB 64GB version at 1,999 yuan, $333.
