Recently, Xiaomi launched MITU Children 4G Phone Watch 5C, with a high degree of protection against moisture, capable of long battery life, and providing the ability to make phone video calls. In addition, the Xiaomi MITU Children 4G Phone Watch 5C supports high-precision GPS positioning, which is one of the most important functions for children’s watches and ensures that parents constantly monitor the movement of the child.
The new MITU Children Watch was placed on the cabinets and opened for pre-sale. But today, this watch has launched for open sale, with a direct drop of 20 yuan and a price of 379 yuan (about $58).
The new children’s smartwatch from the Chinese manufacturer is equipped with a 1.4-inch touchscreen display, a 256MB working memory, and a 512MB internal memory.
The battery capacity is 900mAh, which according to Xiaomi allows a runtime of up to eight days. In addition, a camera with HD resolution for video calls is installed and equipped with the Xiao Ai assistant.
The new MITU Children 4G Phone Watch 5C should be waterproof up to 20 meters and therefore also suitable for swimming. The built-in GPS module can be used by parents in such a way that they define permitted areas. If the child deviates significantly from these – for example, the set route to school – the parents will receive a notification.
The built-in 4G modem of Xiaomi MITU Children 4G Phone Watch 5C should support several frequency bands and be able to establish a connection to a cellular network in over 200 countries. According to Xiaomi, WiFi is also supported and various learning apps should be available for the children.
