Although in March our attention will focus on Xiaomi MI6 smartphone, there are many new mi phones to meet us ahead. Recently, according to TENAA, there will be five new smartphones including 2105212,2016089,2016101 and MAE136 and MBE6A5, confirmed by 3C. Although we can’t confirm the exact model name of the new MI smartphones, Xiaomi MAE136 and MBE6A5 is rumored to be Xiaomi Meri or Xiaomi MI5C.
According to National Certificate center, there are four unreleased smartphones, approved by 3C. Xiaomi 2015212 and 2016089 both support QC3.0, and the latter has been approved by Radio transmission model, supports GSM/TD-SCDMA/TD-LTE network, but no netcom function, so we guess it must be a T-mobile version.
Xiaomi 2016101 supports 5V/2A output, approved by Radio transmission model, got network admission, supporting dual SIM card, dual standby and netcom function. It is said to be the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. The main change from the original is that this version will use Snapdragon 625 processor same as the Indian version. As for Xiaomi MAE136 and MBE6A5 both support 5V/2A charging output, using the power adapter MDY-08-EV.
Although we are not clear about the real name of the Xiaomi MAE136 and MBE6A5, they are produced by FIH Mobile Ltd, ENVADA, and Draco. The difference between these two must be, the Xiaomi MAE136 must be Xiaomi brand smartphone, and the MBE6A5 constructed by Draco may be a Xiaomi Redmi smartphone.
There is also a very good possibility that the Xiaomi 2016212 may be a new version of Xiaomi MI Note 2, and the Xiaomi MAE136 to be the Xiaomi Meri, still unreleased according to leaked news. Xiaomi MAE136 should be the phone with its own processor from Xiaomi. As for why this smartphone doesn’t have power adapter with faster charging speed. Maybe it is related with its own SOC without quick charge IC.
As for Xiaomi Meri, will use Pinecone processor 4+4 A53 architecture and Mali-T860 MP4 GPU, clocked at 1.4GHz small frequency, 2.2GHz big core frequency.Previously, the multi-core and single core on Geekbench are all over the performance of Helio P10 processor. In addition, it is equipped with a 5.5 inch screen, 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM. For main camera has one with 13MP sensor and at the front we find one with 8MP.
We can’t be sure if Xiaomi Meri will use the name Xiaomi MI5C, but if it is Xiaomi MI5C, it should be released before Xiaomi MI6. So Xiaomi MI5C should come out before March or in February.
