Xiaomi Cepheus Appeared: CPU is 40% Faster Than Snapdragon 845

The Snapdragon 855 mobile platform has been released for more than a month, and Xiaomi has only announced a Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G version. According to the official rhythm, the phone will be launched in Europe in Q1 this year, and Q3 will be listed in China with China Mobile 5G pre-commercial.

After an investigation, two new Xiaomi machines suspected of carrying the Snapdragon 855 appeared in the Geekbench 4 running library, one of which was codenamed Cepheus (Citrus Throne) and the other was the new black shark codenamed Skywalker.

In terms of running points, Xiaomi Cepheus single core 3475, multi-core 10872; the black shark is more powerful, reaching 3494 and 11149, compared with Snapdragon 845, about 40% and 25% respectively, basically matching Qualcomm’s so-called 45% CPU Performance increase.

In other respects, Cepheus comes preloaded with the Android 9 system, running 6GB of memory; the Black Shark Skywalker’s RAM is increased to 8GB.
