During this year’s annual speech by Lei Jun in 2023, the spotlight was on the unveiling of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max. This 14-inch tablet is now up for grabs; its base price is 3599 yuan.
The Mi Pad 6 Max stands out with its Snapdragon 8+ flagship processor and an expansive heat dissipation area spanning 15839mm². It boasts a generous storage offering of up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The device is also armed with a self-developed G1 battery management chip, supporting a dual charging system: 67W wired charging and 33W reverse fast charging. All of this is powered by a robust 10000mAh battery.
Sporting a roomy 14-inch 2880×1800 LCD screen, the Mi Pad 6 Max trumps its 11-inch predecessor with a 62% increase in size. The 16:10 screen ratio accommodates a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, and P3 color gamut and even supports advanced features like HDR10 and Dolby Vision. This tablet also has front and rear dual light sensors, ambient color temperature sensing, and TÜV Rheinland hardware-level low blue light technology to ensure flicker-free, color-accurate visuals.
On the software front, the Mi Pad 6 Max embraces the Mi Free Workbench and includes a tailored version of the WPS Office PC for Pad application, delivering a PC-level experience. It has also been meticulously adapted to run the top 200 applications smoothly.
The Mi Pad 6 Max doesn’t hold back regarding audio either, boasting eight speakers for an immersive sound experience. Despite its powerful features, it maintains a sleek profile at just 6.53mm thick and a weight of 750g. Encased in an all-metal body, you can choose between classic black or silver. It also offers a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface and the option for an intelligent touch keyboard that supports various functionalities, including a focus button virtual laser pointer.
