The POCO M7 Pro 5G is powered by Mediatek Teguet 7025 Ultra chip and uses a 6-nanometer process with two Cortex-A78 (2.5GHz) cores and six A55 (2.0GHz) cores. Available in 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X memory and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The machine is pre-installed with the Xiaomi Hyper OS system based on Android 14, and promises to provide 2 operating system updates and 4 years of security patch updates.
In terms of display, M7 Pro 5G has a significant improvement compared to the previous M6 Pro 5G, using a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen, support 120Hz refresh rate, high-frequency PWM dimming and 2160Hz touch sampling rate, peak brightness up to 2100 nits, And covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The fingerprint recognition module is also moved from the side to the bottom of the screen.
The imaging system has also been significantly upgraded. The rear camera uses a 50-megapixel SONY LYT-600 sensor, has a large f/1.5 aperture lens that is rare in its class, and supports optical stabilization (OIS) and electronic stabilization (EIS), but video recording is only available at 1080p@30fps. The front-facing camera is 20 megapixels and has a wider Angle lens (officially “0.8x”, but no specific focal length has been announced). Elsewhere, the POCO M7 Pro 5G is equipped with stereo speakers and offers volume enhancement, retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack and infrared transmitter. The bottom adopts USB-C interface, built-in 5110mAh battery, and supports 45W fast charging, which is significantly improved compared to the 18W charging speed of M6 Pro 5G. The body has a two-tone design, a thickness of 7.99mm, a weight of 190g, and supports IP64 dust and water resistance.
The POCO M7 Pro 5G is available in lavender, Moondust white and olive Twilight. The pre-sale price of the 6GB+128GB version on Flipkart is Rs 15,000 (Igeekphone note: about 1,287 yuan at present) and Rs 17,000 (about 1,459 yuan at present) for the 8GB+256GB version.
